Years of running, lousy posture, and toddler-hoisting began to speak to me IMG_0597through my hip flexors, and a friend suggested I try yoga.  She promised I would like it, and I was sure that it would be boring.  After my first yoga class, I was hooked.

Yoga has helped me recognize movement within stillness and create balance in my life.  I still run and wrestle my son (who will soon pass me up in height), but I also dream of handstands in the center of the room.  I am grateful for Billy Gill, Rose   Robles, Gabe Hendrie, Stephen Ewashkiw, and Hagar Harpak, for giving me valuable instruction, encouragement, opportunity, direction, and knowledge.

I love a good laugh and a glass of red wine.  I also like to work hard.  My classes are challenging and fun with a focus on building strength and creating space within the body for movement.  Please see my schedule for upcoming classes or contact me if you are interested in a private session.
